On June 19 and 20 this year the partners in the „Sport in Art” project, supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU, gathered in the city of León, Spain, for their second face-to-face meeting. support of Erasmus + programs of the EU. The meeting was hosted by the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education at the University of León, Spain. All partners got involved with their representatives – experts in the field of sports, art and higher education – the University of Leon, NSA – Sofia, Charles University – Prague and National Association Cultures du Monde – France.
The meeting was led by the team of the National Sports Academy, headed by Prof. Kiril Andonov, as a coordinating institution.
The partners made a detailed review of what has been done during the first project period (of a total of three stages), all the documents developed for the presentation of the joint master’s program „Sports Stage Performances“ were examined. Each of the partners has its own contribution both to the development of content and to the achievement of the best quality of the materials. The evaluation report on the quality and expected impact of the program prepared by the experts of the French National Association Cultures du Monde was also discussed.
On the second day of the meeting, the activities to be implemented during the next project period – the academic year 2024/2025 – were discussed. The implementation of pilot training in all twelve disciplines is planned in strict coordination and uniform requirements for teaching and learning. Simultaneously with the educational activity, which will also be publicly demonstrated with open access to the video recordings at the end of the next academic year, the second period of the project provides for the preparation for the creation of the student stage performance dedicated to Planet Earth.
One of the important conclusions of the meeting in Leon was the achieved consensus and joint action of the partners from different countries of the European Union, as well as the feeling of institutional responsibility of each partner for the common results.
